Mitch on Film
Welcome to the wonderful world of self-publishing! Ann, I really enjoyed the post I’ve read and promise to pick up the Justin Cronin trilogy, and will take into consideration the the second act of the three act production often is unsatisfying (Can you say “The Empire Strike Back”?)
But most of all, I’d like to thank you for “following” me into the pits of Hollywood. I tend to do reviews, but after 18-months of working at Big Snow-capped Mountain Studio, I can’t seem to look at ANY film now without my putting my accountants visor on, for film truly is a form of commercial art, where as cinema is more of a creative art; the latter doesn’t care as much about making money as it does making a message or statement, while the former is all about the Bens.
I hope you find my pieces as entertaining as I find your informative. Well come (as my friend from “The Village” [see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Village_(The_Prisoner) for details] would say) to this wacky world and I hope you find it as satisfying as I am.
